Prachandeswar Seva Sansthan (PSS) was founded on 12th January 2005 by a group of committed rural youth and social activists, driven by the shared dream of a just, inclusive, and empowered society. It was officially registered on 13th May 2006 under the Indian Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, as a non-political, non-governmental, non-profit, non-sectarian, and non-religious voluntary organization. Rooted in the values of love, sacrifice, dedication, and motherhood, PSS has grown into a community-driven movement striving to transform lives and uplift those who are most vulnerable. From the beginning, the organization has pursued a bold vision: to build a society based on equality, justice, and peace, free from poverty, disparity, deprivation, and inhumanity.

Believing that true development must be people-centered, PSS actively involves communities in every stage of its programs—promoting participation, capacity building, skill development, and organized collective action. The organization also emphasizes natural resource management, education, and sustainability as key pillars of its approach. For its impactful work, PSS has been honored with several awards including the Prakruti Mitra, Gopabandhu Jyoti, and Social Impact Award.
